Who are we?
GLAD Forward is a group of young LGBTQ people and allies in the Greater Boston area who believe we can make a difference, change lives, and have a great time doing it. We’re here to network, party, learn, and do more – together.

Why get involved?
Because you’re fun, fabulous, and philanthropic. Now more than ever, we know we need to carry LGBTQ justice into the future. And this is the place to meet other people like you: people who want to make an impact, people who want to ensure that everyone in the LGBTQ community has the rights they deserve, and people who want to have fun while we’re at it.

What’s coming up?
GLAD Forward has opportunities just for young adults. We’re also your gateway to attend other GLAD events as a group. Never been to a GLAD event? Don’t know anyone yet? Don’t worry – you’re already among friends.

Get Your Queer Ducks in a Row: Forward-Looking Financial and Estate Planning

Wednesday, May 9, 2018
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Gallery at the W Boston Hotel
100 Stuart St, Boston, MA 02116

We may be young and fabulous but we’re not kids anymore. It’s time to get our queer ducks in a row. So join GLAD Forward and special guests Annika Bockius-Suwyn and Deborah Danger of DangerLaw to get the answers to questions like:

  • Why do I need a will?
  • Health care proxy? What’s that?
  • How do I support causes I care about and get financial benefits?
  • I’m married. Doesn’t my spouse automatically get to make decisions if I’m incapacitated? (Spoiler alert: no)
  • What special protections do I need as a queer person?

Don’t miss this chance to get the information you need to handle the unexpected and support the people and issues you care most about.

Dinner provided. Cash Bar.
Space is mobility accessible.
