As GLAD’s Senior Manager of Organizational Culture and Community Partnerships, Qwin spearheads GLAD’s engagements with various constituencies within and outside the LGBTQ+ community across New England, and stewards GLAD’s internal culture work, particularly with regard to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Prior to joining GLAD Qwin devoted her career to human rights awareness and equality with a focus on LGBTQI human rights in Uganda and East Africa, and around the world.

Qwin’s experience ranges from grassroots mobilization, multi-operation coordination, pride, Queer film festival organizing, and front-line activism.  She has a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Makerere University and when she’s not volunteering, Qwin enjoys reading crime and detective books.
