Deaunte (they/them) is a MUP Candidate at New York University and has previously worked in public affairs spaces advocating for queer and black rights in organizations such as Family Equality, Rock The Vote, and Children at Risk.  Deaunte holds a B.S. from the University of Houston in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Classics, Public Policy, and Leadership. Deaunte enjoys coffee, reading, and listening to music, specifically Taylor Swift.
