Courtney is a Constitutional Law fellow with GLAD. She previously served as an intern with GLAD in the Fall of 2020 through Harvard’s LGBTQ Legal Advocacy Clinic. As a fellow, Courtney will help GLAD prepare and build upon strategies to protect the constitutional rights of the LGBTQ+ community. This work will focus particularly on ongoing attempts to undermine marriage equality.
Courtney graduated from Harvard Law School in 2022. While at HLS, Courtney served on the board of the Alliance for Reproductive Justice and as co-President of Lambda. During law school, Courtney also worked for the United Nations Independent Expert on sexual orientation and gender identity, where she conducted research on the intersection of international human rights law and protections for LGBTQ+ persons.
Prior to working at GLAD, Courtney served as a fellow for Democracy Forward. Courtney is originally from Philadelphia. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science.
