Janson Wu, Executive Director of GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders issued the following statement about last night’s mass shooting at a gay club in Orlando, FL:

We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community of Florida. Our solemn thoughts are with those who have died and those who were injured and traumatized.  Our hearts go out to the families and friends who have suffered senseless loss. Yesterday in Boston we were celebrating the life force that is our community. Though it is dimmed today by this tragedy, that beautiful, loving, joyful force is something that will not be extinguished by violence or by hatred.
