Kittery, ME School Committee Passes Policy Protecting Transgender & Gender Expansive Students
On June 5, 2018, the Kittery, Maine School Committee unanimously passed a policy protecting transgender and gender expansive students – a critical step forward for making schools safe and affirming for all youth. Kittery joins Portland and South Portland in passing transgender and gender expansive school policies. Portland School District adopted its Policy on November 28th, 2017.
