There’s no denying that this has been a brutal state legislative season for our community. We’ve seen over 100 anti-LGBTQ bills in states across the country this year – about 3x the number we saw last year. And most of those bills are, horrifically, targeting transgender youth. Despite these attacks from an organized opposition willing to callously use children as political pawns, our community is resilient. When we work together and support one another, we can and do advance justice for all of us.
Come talk about both victories and challenges from the past year, hear about some of the amazing young trans leaders who are advocating for positive change, and discuss what we can all do to support queer, trans, and BIPOC justice for all members of our community.
