On February 9, 2022, GLAD joined the National Women’s Law Center, Women’s Sports Foundation, and 48 organizations in two amicus (friend of the court) briefs supporting 118 former Ohio State University male students, including student-athletes, who were sexually abused by Dr. Richard Strauss from 1978 to 1998.

The brief focuses on the unique vulnerabilities faced by athletes that prevent them from recognizing that they have been sexually abused.
