Banning So-called “Conversion Therapy” in NH
Status: Victory
GLAD is working with partners in New Hampshire this session to pass a bill that would make it impermissible for licensed health professionals working with minors to engage in so-called conversion therapy.
GLAD Executive Director Janson Wu delivered testimony before the New Hampshire House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee on March 21, 2017.
The term conversion therapy refers to a range of dangerous and discredited practices that seek to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
