Lawrence and Goodridge at 10
GLAD attorney Mary Bonauto will be a featured speaker at this conference on the Lawrence and Goodridge cases. Lawrence and Goodridge at 10 will bring together jurists, scholars, and lawyers to discuss the changing landscape of gay rights since 2003 in light of these two very important cases.
At the 10th anniversary of both decisions, and in light of the rapid changes in our nation and the world regarding gay rights, we anticipate that the conference will be a milestone in and of itself. Lawrence and Goodridge at 10 will foment reflection and insight into the roles of the three branches of government in forming policies and laws that affect the rights of gays and lesbians and of the relative influences of the bar and advocacy groups in the development of socio-political movements.
This conference is free, but advanced registration is required. Register here.
