Same-Sex Couples Apply for Passport in Married Names

Background:  As a result of GLAD’s anti-DOMA lawsuit, the State Department has changed its passport policy to allow married same-sex couples to get passports in their new married names.  Like hundreds of others, plaintiff Keith Toney was denied a passport in his correct name.  He and others will apply for their new passports on Monday.
