March 4, 2020: GLAD and other organizations submitted a friend-of-the-court brief in support of a lawsuit against Anoka-Hennepin School District by a former student. While attending a school in this district, the former student was required to use a separate changing room because he is transgender. If the case is ruled in his favor, it could result in revised policies related to locker room use by transgender students and other protections against discrimination based on gender identity.
