Molly joined the GLAD family as Accounting Manager in February 2012.
Molly has been involved in Boston’s LGBT scene her entire life and is a living example of what GLAD has accomplished. Adopted in 1983 by two incredible lesbians Molly was legally cross-adopted by her parents in 1995, thanks to GLAD’s case regarding two parent adoptions. While a student at Brookline High School, she was an active member of SpeakOut, ran workshops at GLSEN, and was her GSA’s treasurer. A BAGLY alum, Molly now serves on the organization’s Board of Directors.
Molly began working full-time as a bookkeeper and then as an accountant while attending Northeastern University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Financial Management, with high honors, in May 2007. Molly worked as a Staff Auditor at Ernst & Young until she left Boston for San Francisco in 2009. But she couldn’t resist that dirty water and moved back two years later. She is a certified Quickbooks pro-advisor and runs her own company, Dapper Financial Solutions, providing accounting consulting to small businesses.
In her free time, Molly plays women’s flag football and enjoys building her own furniture and solving jigsaw puzzles.
