Michelle joined GLAD in June 2012. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Boston University, where she focused on the intersection of communication, gender, sexuality and activism. Serving as the PR Coordinator for BU's Center for Gender, Sexuality and Activism, Michelle was instrumental in leading a successful campaign to establish a sexual assault prevention and response center, which opened Fall 2012. Michelle was also the Founder and President of Boston University’s Queer Activist Collective. Michelle is a native Southern Californian and has lived abroad in Belgium and Australia. Michelle is excited to further explore the connections between law and communication and to continue serving the LGBTQ community.
